Citi Sports investigations have revealed that the office of the Deputy Secretary-General of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Rev. Richard Quarcoo, was ransacked by some unknown people on Monday.

Although the incident may seem as a random one, Citi Sports sources say that the office may have contained some documents in relation to the current visa racketeering saga that has rocked Ghana’as participation in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Speaking to Citi Sports, Rev. Quarcoo confirmed the incident, and disclosed that the police have began investigations into the matter.

“I didn’t want to talk about it, but it is true that my office has been ransacked. We still do not know who did it but they tampered with our system, our safe, records cabinet and other things.

“I do not want to give too much away as the matter is being investigated by the police,” he said.

The GOC is currently under investigations, after allegations of visa fraud in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Australia.
