The full documentary of an interview granted by Ghanaian actress and model, Moesha Boduong, to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, is now available with more revelations on sex and love.
The documentary titled ‘Sex and Love Around the World’ talks about the Ghanaian’s perception of sex and love in religious and cultural milieus.
In the documentary, Christiane Amanpour throws the spotlight on the subject matter from the perspective of young women who depend on married men for their subsistence, and a man who is not cheating, but only with the excuse that he’s poor.
Apart from Moesha Boduong, she also speaks to the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Duncan Williams, relationship talk show host Akumaa Mama Zimbi, movie producer/director Nicole Amarteifio, among others.
The release of the full documentary follows a recent bashing Moesha Bodoung received from most Ghanaians for saying in the interview that in Ghana, women sleep with married men to make a living, due to hard economic conditions.
“In Ghana our economy is such a way that you need someone to take care of you. You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because even when you want to get an apartment, in Ghana they take two years’ advance and I just started working. Where will I get money to pay?” she said.
The interviewer, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, who looked shocked by Moesha’s response asked: “are you basically telling me that you are having sex with this guy to pay your rent?”
“Because he can afford to take care of you. He takes care of me, my financials, my apartment, my car, my rent, everything,” Moesha replied.
When asked what the man expects from her in return, she told Christiane: “he expects me to be loyal and take care of him and give him sex when he wants.”
The full video also captures Moesha Boduong saying Ghanaian women are fond of using vaginal tightening gels to please their men.
When asked if the gel increases the woman’s satisfaction too during sex, she answered that all that matters is to make the man happy in bed.
“Ghana especially, we try to please the men first, that is why we use all these things to make them enjoy the sex. We please the men before we think about ourselves. You need to be a freak in the sheets to please your man,” she said.
Christiane Amanpour later expressed her displeasure at Ghanaians for condemening Moesha upon seeing the promo of her documentary.
She urged Ghanaians to watch the full video to make better assessment of the story and to also respect people’s right of expression.
