The Vice President of Ghana’s FA, George Afriyie was earlier this week sacked from the association.

The news came at a time when he had publicly declared his intention to contest in the FA Presidential election.

His ousting did not come as a surprise to many pundits who said his sour relationship with the president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was further marred by the declaration of intent to run for the high office without prior discussion with Mr. Nyantakyi.

The above infographic highlights Mr. Afriyie’s time at the GFA.
