The Chief of Akuapem Berekusu in the Eastern Region, Odeefo Oteng Korankye II, has assured his subjects that he remains focused on his quest to bring development to the area.

Odeefo Oteng Korankye II says he’s very much concerned about improving the welfare of his people, and will not be distracted in achieving this.

Odeefo Oteng Korankye II stated that, machinations by some group of persons to tarnish his image, will lead to nowhere, as he refuses to be distracted.

The Chief called on people of Abokobi and Berekusu, to come together and live in harmony in order to achieve a common goal and build both communities.

Speaking at a news conference to deny what he called false rumours on the airwaves, Odeefo Oteng Korankye II, urged residents of Berekusu and Abokobi to coexist peacefully.

Abokobi, a community in the Greater Accra Region, is not far from Akuapem Berekusu in the Eastern Region.
