After thrilling audience with refreshing live music last week, Citi TV’s ‘Saturday Live’ returns this weekend with another great line-up of artistes.
On Saturday, June 2, 2018, ‘Saturday Live’ features highlife crooner Kwabena, flutist Dela Botri and the Kwan Pa traditional band.
The programme promises to be more exciting as Kwabena Kwabena prepares to do renditions of his soothing love songs like ‘Adult Music,’ ‘Siwagedam,’ ‘Tuamudaa,’ ‘Obaa,’ among others.
[contextly_sidebar id=”9hWzXDM6DsIOChJ9GiY70GaMWxqBrAUu”]Dela Botri will also be playing melodies of some of Ghana’s great musical compositions with his flute. Dela Botri is the leader of Hewale Sounds, a band that blends traditional and modern instrumentation.
To cap it all, another band that is fast winning the hearts of music fans with their authentic traditional Ghanaian rhythms, Kwan Pa will bring their exceptional creativity to bear on the show.
The fourth season of ‘Saturday Live’ started last week with highlife great Rex Omar and songstress Adina. They were supported by QueiQu Aphro and the Characters Band.
The is hosted by one of Ghana’s finest events emcee and broadcaster Kojo Akoto Boateng.
‘Saturday Live’ airs every Saturday from 2 pm to 4 pm on Citi 97.3 MHz, Citi TV and online via citinewsroom.com.
