GHPL: PLB Reveals Nasco Coach, Player Of The Month Nominees For April

The Premier League Board has released six nominees for the NASCO Premier League player and coach of the month for April.

For the NASCO of the month category, Bechem United hitman, Hafiz Wontah Konkoni has been nominated alongside WAFA star Umar Basiru and Dreams FC’s Leonard Owusu.

Wontah scored five goals in April and won one man of the match award, while Umar Basiru scored one goal and won two man of the awards in April. Dreams FC’s Leonard Owusu won three man of the match awards and provided three assists in the month of May.

The nominees for NASCO coach of the month are Karela FC coach Johnson Smith, Elmina Sharks’ Yaw Acheampong and Berekum Chelsea coach Svetislav Tanasijevic.

Coach Smith of Karela won three out of six matches, drew two and lost one, while Yaw Acheampong led Elmina Sharks to three wins in five games and drew the other two. Chelsea’s Svetislav Tanasijevic played six matches, won three, drew two and lost one.

The winners will be announced by the end of the week and the coach of the month will be presented with a 40 inches LED television, a trophy and an electronic men’s grooming set by the sponsor award sponsor NASCO.

The player of the month will also receive a 32 inch LED television, a trophy and a set of an electronic men’s grooming kit from NASCO.
