The National Service Scheme (NSS) has extended registration for prospective service personnel to June 2, 2018
In a statement issued by the Public Affairs director copied to Citi FM, the extended date is to allow NSS prospects who have not been able to complete their registration to do so.
“The management of National Service Scheme (NSS) has extended the deadline for the 2018/2019 service year registration to 20th June 2018.”
All NSS prospects are expected to go to Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) office across the country to obtain an SSNIT card for the smooth registration process.
The Management of NSS advice all NSS prospect to channel all their Challenges relating to the registration process to respective NSS Regional Secretariat across the country or the Head office for directions and assistance.
The Management of the scheme is also reminding all prospects that they will continue to validate all personnel who have gone through the right registration process and will prosecute all impersonators
“Management wish to remind all prospective National Service personnel that the Scheme will continue to carry out validation for all personnel who have gone through the registration process and those found to have impersonated others would be prosecuted.”
