Shatta Wale is not relenting on his bid to endear himself to the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Few months after his wish to visit the President was granted, the dance hall artiste has put another request before him.

“Honourable ministers are saying #Gringo Mr President @NAkufoAddo can you please in the name of the Lord hashtag #Gringo? You have worked so much your Excellency! You need it. God bless you God bless Ghana,” he said in a tweet.

Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ which was captured in a short film, it was directed by internationally-recognized video director, Sesan Ogunro, for Film Factory and produced by David Nguyen.

The film which cast over 20 international actors in what is arguably tagged as the most expensive video shot by any homegrown artiste from Africa, was shot in the province of Blanco, Texas, USA, at the Buggy Barn Museum and cast in the 1880s.

Just a week of its release, the video has over 700,000 views on Youtube.

Last year, Nana Akufo-Addo invited Shatta Wale to the Jubilee House on the occasion of the latter’s birthday after the dance hall artiste had tweeted at him, asking for a meeting with the President as a birthday present.
