As part of the Eid-ul-Adha festivities, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, on Monday, paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharabutu to present 200 cases of drinks and seek to strengthen the relationship between the Muslim community and the brand.
The visit is a follow-up of last year’s donation that was aimed at introducing the non-alcoholic variant, Orijin ZERO to the Muslim community.
Rita Rockson, Corporate Communications, and Employee Engagement Manager, GGBL who led the delegation said “a year ago, we launched Orijin Zero to in part take care of our Muslim brothers and sisters who were feeling left out of the Orijin family.
Today, we return to the Chief Imam to strengthen the bond between GGBL as a brand and the Muslim community as well as wish you the best of Eid as you celebrate Eid-ul-Adha”.
Speaking on behalf of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw acknowledged the gestures and expressed his appreciation for Guinness Ghana Breweries continuous support for the National Chief Imam and his foundation.
