Online betting company Betpawa, has presented a cheque of Ghc18, 000 to one of its winners.
With its parents company in Kenya, Betpawa also operates in four other African countries including Zambia, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda.
In Ghana, the company has been operating for only a few months.
Presenting the cheque to the winner, brand Ambassador for Betpawa, who is also a major shareholder in the company, Nigerian musician, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr. Eazi, urged the public to take advantage of the betting industry to enrich their lives.
“The brand is about betting small but winning big. You don’t have to bet big before you win, just some small money and your life will change forever,” he noted.
He however warned minors to desist from betting as it has addiction tendencies.
“You know if you are below 18 and you drink, you are harming your body, so in the same vain if you are below 18, you do not have to engage in betting.”
The winner Randy Adu could not hide his joy as he thanked the company for creating a life changing platform for people to make more money.
