President Akufo-Addo has said he is not perturbed by the various allegations of corruption seeking to tarnish his image and members of his family.
At the opening of the annual Internal Auditors Conference, Nana Addo said allegations of corruption against him and his family are untrue.

I did not come into public life to make money out of public service and the members of my family know fully well that they have to behave and are not involved in anything untoward,” the president said.
“I am aware that you give a dog a bad name in order to hang it but this dog will not be hanged.”
The NDC has accused Nana Addo of presiding over “a family and friends government.”
Several officials of the Nana Addo administration have been accused of engaging in some corrupt activities, but in most cases, they have all been cleared of any wrongdoing after investigations ordered by the President.
The minority NDC says the President in most of these cases engaged in a cover-up to save the image of his government.
Nana Addo has lost grip, not in control of gov’t – Bagbin
NDC MP for Nadowli-Kaleo, Alban Bagbin, has taken a swipe at the president over what he believes to be a demonstration of ineffective leadership in governance.
“I don’t think that this is the Nana Addo I knew; that he could ever think of appointing 110 ministers and deputy ministers after criticizing 84 ministers and deputy ministers that it was on the high side.”
He however asked Ghanaians to give the president time to ‘redeem himself.’
“In spite of the mistakes that his government is making and sometimes the surprises that he is giving to Ghanaians because they are not practicing what they preach, we should give him time.”
