Mrs. Patience Akyianu has been named as the new Group Chief Executive Officer of insurance company Hollard Ghana Holdings Limited.
Prior to her appointment, Patience was the Managing Director of Barclays Bank Ghana Limited.
A statement from the Group said Mrs. Patience Akyianu will oversee and direct the affairs of Hollard’s operations in Ghana effective October 1, 2018.
Mrs. Patience Akyianu also worked as the Finance Director of Barclays Bank Ghana before her elevation to the Managing Director role.
Prior to joining Barclays Bank Ghana, Patience was the Chief Finance Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, South Africa.
Patience has over 17 years’ experience in the banking industry and has a track record of building high performing teams and passion for excellent customer service.
“We are extremely excited to have Patience as the leader for our highly skilled teams from the two subsidiaries (i.e., Hollard Insurance Ghana and Hollard Life Assurance Ghana Limited) towards the achievement of our vision and goals,” the statement added.
