Patrick Razak lands in Guinea to complete switch to AC Horoya from Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak star Patrick Razak has arrived in Conakry to sign a two-year contract with Guinean giants Horoya to beat CAF’s transfer deadline on Wednesday, 10 October 2018 .

Hearts of Oak and Horoya AC  reached an agreement for the transfer of the pacey winger last Friday.

Footy-Ghana.com reported that a $150,000 transfer fee was sealed when representatives of Horoya met officials of the Phobians at the negotiation table in Accra on Friday.

Horoya saw their initial $80,000 offer knocked back by Hearts of Oak in February this year before returning with almost double the amount this time.

It is however unknown if Razak would be taking an improved salary having been already presented $3,000 per month in the initial offer.

Hearts of Oak risked losing Patrick Razak on the bossman rule as he was just a month left to end his three-year contract.

The 23-year-old would become the fifth Ghanaian player in the books of Horoya – after Mandela Ocansey, Sebe Baffour, Brefo Mensah and Godfred Asante – once the paper works are completed.
