Korean-based Kwangdong Pharmaceuticals has introduced one of its new brands in Ghana.
The product, ‘Korean Red Ginseng with Honey Drink’, is specially designed to eliminate the frequent intake of caffeine by the public.
Its main ingredients are ginseng and honey.
The key functions of the Korean Red Ginseng with Honey Drink include ensuring a balanced nutrition, balanced blood circulation, and it is also to boost one’s immune system.
Other benefits of the drink are its anti-aging, anti-fatigue and anti-cancer capabilities.
Launching the product in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who spoke highly of the product said “this is a refreshing tonic drink made of the exotic herb – ginseng which is known to have active natural ingredients that are effective for reducing stress level, revitalizing blood circulation, and detoxifying the body.”
He therefore advised individuals who are actively engage in tedious work to desist from taking inferior drinks and resort to natural ones like the Korean Red Ginseng with Honey to improve their health.
Distributors of the drink in Ghana, Mega Joy Limited, said it collaborated with the pharmaceutical company just to give consumers of such drinks value for money.
Its sales manager, David Adabo, said “we realized that there are lots of caffeine products on the market that are affecting people, so we decided to bring in a natural product that can be of more benefits for consumers. We therefore partnered with our Korean partners to bring the drink to Ghana.”
