Prof. Ben Quashie Honyenuga has been appointed as substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Ho Technical University after acting in the same position since October 2018.

Prof. Honyenuga, who was recently promoted as the first associate professor of the Ho Technical University which started as a technical institute in 1968, was the interim Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University after it was converted to a technical University in 2016.

The Governing Council of the University initially appointed him as the Acting Vice- Chancellor effective 1st October 2018, following the end of the tenure of Professor Emmanuel Kojo Sakyi as the Rector and Interim Vice Chancellor of the University.

Prof. Honyenuga as Pro Vice-Chancellor was responsible for all academic matters in the University, assisted the Vice Chancellor in the day to day administration of the University, and performed such duties as were assigned by Council or the Academic Board.
