Following the killing of Tiger Eye PI’s investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Madina, many have begun relooking at the issue of threats and attacks on journalists due to the impact of their work.
The killing of journalists in Ghana is rare however castigations, threats and physical assault is relatively common.
Just 9 months into 2018, there were more than 18 incidents of assault of journalists.
