The month of March has been christened as Heritage Month by Citi FM/Citi TV and as such a number of programmes have been slated to make the season a memorable one.
One of the events which will be held within the Heritage Month, Accra Music Expo, has been scheduled for March 16, 2019.
The event will take place at the forecourt of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly at 6pm.
The Accra Music Expo is a special event focused on celebrating and promoting indigenous Ga music.
This year’s programme features Ga music ensemble Dromo Naa, Afro-soul artiste Cina Soul, ‘Gyata Bi’ singer Adane Best and many more.
In previous years highlife giants like Paapa Yankson, Adane Best, Pat Thomas, Nana Kwame Ampadu, Okyeame Kwame, Samuel Owusu and the Ramblers International Band have all featured on the Accra Music Expo show.
The Accra Music Expo would be a precursor to Citi FM’s Music of Ghanaian Origin which takes place in March.
Accra Music Expo is organised by Citi FM/Citi TV in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
This event is strictly by invitation.
