The Emile Short Commission of Inquiry tasked to investigate the violence that marred the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election has visited the constituency, to inspect and fully examine the crime scene.
This was a fact-finding exercise designed to apprise and furnish the Commission with corroborative evidence or otherwise in relation to the testimonies given before it.
About 10 gunshot marks were counted at the scene.

The proceedings were held at the La Bawaleshie Presby Basic 1 Cluster of School in the company of officials of the Criminal Investigation Department.
The Commission, set up on February 6, 2019, with a month’s deadline, has so far taken testimonies from over ten persons and is expected to resume sittings on Monday.
