Spanish giants Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Ghana international Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
Los Blancos boss, Zinedine Zidane, is said to be a huge fan of the 25 year old and is keen on bringing the player to the Bernabeu.
According to sources, Real have already made contact with the players representatives, and are ready to double Partey’s wages in a bid to lure him away from their bitter rivals.
The midfielder has been in great form so far this season for Atletico making 28 league appearances.
Partey has been attracting strong interest from a number of clubs in recent weeks, including Manchester United and Manchester City, with all the interested parties ready to activate his €50 million release clause.
He is set to star for Ghana at the AFCON in June.
