Promasidor Ghana Limited, producers of Cowbell powdered milk and other dairy and food seasoning products will be commissioning 20 boreholes in some deprived communities as part of activities marking the companies’ 20th-anniversary celebrations of its flagship brand, Cowbell.
The Managing Director of Promasidor Ghana Limited, Festus Tettey at the media launch of the 20th-anniversary celebration of Cowbell disclosed that Promasidor Ghana limited is going to embark on a series of developmental projects to give back to society.
The theme for the 20th-anniversary celebrations of Cowbell is “Nourishing bodies, minds and dreams”.
According to Mr. Festus Tettey, Promasidor Ghana limited’s community engagement initiatives gives credence to the chosen theme to mark the 20th-anniversary celebrations of Cowbell.
“Our list of community engagement is quite long, recounting this however gives credence to our chosen theme to mark the 20th anniversary of the Cowbell brand which is ‘Nourishing bodies, minds and dreams.”
“On this 20th anniversary, we have undertaken a number of activities and a few more to come. The height of which will be providing 20 deprived communities boreholes to have potable drinking water.”
Mr. Tettey also assured patrons of cowbell milk that the company will not renege on it efforts to continually innovate and create solutions to meet their needs.
“Our promise to our loyal consumers is that we will not relent on our efforts to continue to innovate and create solutions to address their needs. As a true a communal brand Cowbell will continue over the next 2 decades and even beyond to actively engage with its community in line with its essence and pay off “our milk.”
On this part, the Brands Manager of the company, Mr. Joseph Ashong disclosed a list of activities the company plans to undertake during the anniversary celebrations.
Among other initiatives, there will be a Cowbell appreciation day for staff, a partners dialogue and awards night, a cowbell staff anniversary party.
There will be some donations on the World milk day, as cowbell intends to give out over 100,000 cowbell sachets to some selected paediatric wards, Mr. Ashong said at the media launch.
“As part of the 20th anniversary celebration, Cowbell will be donating 100, sachets across the country. This will be done in separate hospitals across the country. The donation will be done mainly at the pediatric unit of selected hospitals”
In an attempt to boost the interest of mathematics among students in the country, a cognitive development competition dubbed ‘cowbellpedia’ will also be organised for some schools in the country.
