Citi TV’s music talent discovery show, Voice Factory, has aired its first eviction show.
The show which is the second, had Idara saved from eviction.
Even though she had the least votes, she was saved by judge Kaywa who thought she deserved another in the competition.
With assistance from the Musical Lunatics band, this week’s episode started with Ayjay Sam who sang Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect.’
James Arthur’s ‘Empty Space’ was done by KennieKings followed by Debbie who performed Jailor by Asa.
This week, Araba thrilled with ‘A Change is Gonna Come’ by Sam Cooke.
Ashaiman’s Charisma did his rendition of Davido’s ‘Fall.’
Cleck Boyson, clad in an African print and corresponding did Kojo Antwi’s ‘Nfa Me Nko Ho.’
Lina sang ‘Rise Up’ by Andra Day after Oye had performed ‘Bibanke’ by Asa.
Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ was done by Red’m while Idara who was saved from eviction did Jazmine Sullivan’s ‘Burst Your Windows.’
Music producer, Kaywa, ‘Made in Ghana’ Ambassador Okyeame Kwame and gospel songstress Edinam Bright-Davies were the judges for the night.
The 10 selected singers will battle it out for the top spot, in live performance shows in a period of 13 weeks.
‘Voice Factory’ will be aired on Citi TV on Saturdays at 7 pm with daily updates at 12 pm.
Voice Factory 2019 is hosted by Osei Kwame, co-host of Citi FM’s late afternoon drive, Traffic Avenue and AJ Sarpong, host of Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM and Hall of Fame on Citi TV.
