Promasidor Ghana Ltd has followed up with its pledge to construct 20 boreholes to some deprived communities across the country as it marks the 20th anniversary for its flagship product, Cowbell.
Speaking at the launch of the project at Aminapah – a community in the Ada district in the Greater Accra region, Marketing Manager of Cowbell, Shine Akiem Torsoo explained that the construction of the borehole project is an addition to the numerous means Cowbell brand helps deprived communities.
He also indicated that the construction of the borehole project in Aminapah and 19 other rural areas is a demonstration of the cowbell brand’s love and care for its consumers.
“This gesture by Cowbell our milk towards Aminapah and the other selected communities across the country, is our brands demonstration of care and love towards our consumers who support us and the reason for our existence. It is our hope and trust that the communities privileged to benefit from this project will service and maintain the boreholes on regular basis to help many generations to come.”

“We choose to provide water because water is life and it doesn’t matter how much it will cost us to deliver this to the rural poor.” Mr. Shine Torsoo added.
Aminapah is a community in the Ada District of the Greater Accra region and home to about 600 people mostly women and children.
The community has seen no major development in recent times and saddled with numerous challenges, including a lack of potable water and no proper place of convenience.
The nearest source of water for residents in Aminapah is a neighbouring community known as Toku, which is about 8km, a situation the Chief and people of the area have described as “very pathetic”.
The Chief of Aminapah Nene Amartey Korley Adegu welcomed the news of Promasidor Ghana’s limited borehole construction adding that his people are grateful for the kind gesture.
The borehole project which is expected to commence on July 23, 2019, is to be completed within a month.
Cowbell celebrates 20th anniversary, promises more community dev’t initiatives
The Managing Director of Promasidor Ghana Limited, Festus Tettey at the media launch of the 20th-anniversary celebration of Cowbell in May this year disclosed that Promasidor Ghana limited is going to embark on a series of developmental projects to give back to society.
The theme for the 20th-anniversary celebrations of Cowbell is “Nourishing bodies, minds and dreams”.
According to Mr. Festus Tettey, Promasidor Ghana limited’s community engagement initiatives give credence to the chosen theme to mark the 20th-anniversary celebrations of Cowbell.
“Our list of community engagement is quite long. Recounting this however gives credence to our chosen theme to mark the 20th anniversary of the Cowbell brand which is ‘Nourishing bodies, minds and dreams’.”
“On this 20th anniversary, we have undertaken a number of activities and a few more to come. The height of which will be providing 20 deprived communities boreholes to have potable drinking water.”
