Twenty-six-year-old student of the Maureen Signature Institute, Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi, has won the coveted crown of the 2019 edition of Miss Ghana beauty pageant.
She won the envious title over eighteen (18) other contestants at a ceremony held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
Apart from winning the ultimate title, Rebecca was also presented with Miss Photogenic, Best Skin, Miss Fitness and Top Model awards on the night.
“I chose to be part of the revered Miss Ghana brand because I genuinely believe that over the years, it has been the quintessential springboard most beautiful and ambitious young women ride on to cut their teeth in becoming women of substance,” Rebecca Kwabi said.
Sarah Odei Amoani, a 22-year -old Law student at the University of Professional Studies who is also a talent development and career guidance coach was adjudged the first runner-up of the contest.
She was followed by 23-year-old Purchase & Supply graduate of the Koforidua Technical University, Deborah Opoku Sarfo who took the third position.
As part of her prize package, Rebecca was presented with a Hyundai i10 car and would be representing Ghana at the Miss World pageant.

She will also be volunteering with Exclusive Events Ghana organisers of the pageant for a year in addition to a monthly allowance of GHc 1000.
The first and second runner-ups received Hyundai grand i10 official cars each and will also be volunteering with the Exclusive Events Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation for a year among other prizes.
There were performances by poet Rhyme Sonny, National Dance Ensemble, the Kri8 Band and the ‘Rap Dacta’ Okyeame Kwame who performed his ‘Made in Ghana’ among other hit songs.
In attendance were the Founder of Miss World Organisation, Julia Morley and Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce de Leon.
Others were Miss Uganda 2018 Quinn Abenakyo Abenakyo; Organiser of Miss World Uganda beauty pageant, Brenda Nanyonjo; Miss Nigeria 2018, Anita Ukah; Miss World Nigeria 1st Runner Up, Aramide Lopez; Miss Togo 2018 winner and runner up together with their Manager Mr Kenvie. The Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi and the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison represented the government at the programme.
The 2019 Miss Ghana pageant was hosted by Kafui Dey, Karley Mettle Addo, Emmanuel Edem Smith and Ato Ghartey.
Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Sandra Amponsah Ayivor, Nina Atalah, Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, Prince Etornam Attipoe and Inna Patty were the judges.
The Miss Ghana beauty pageant is organized by Exclusive Events Ghana Limited headed by Inna Mariam Patty, a former Miss Ghana queen.
