The Public Procurement Authority (PPA) has received a Quality Choice Prize Award in Berlin, Germany, from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).
Present at the ceremony were the CEO of PPA, AB Adjei, the vice board chairman, Samuel Richard Nee Baidoo, Ernestina Jemima Eshun and Emmanuel Yaw Boakye, who are both board members.
They received the prize, which recognises its initiatives and demonstration of exceptional leadership in quality management that have delivered significant savings to Ghana’s economy.
The ESQR Quality Choice Prize undertakes an assessment of the initiatives and strategies that business leaders from across the world implement in their companies and organisations.
This annual awards ceremony is used to acknowledge the efforts of exceptional and talented employers and employees.
The CEO of PPA, in his speech, highlighted the need for world leaders to recognise their place as critical change agents and attach a deep commitment and passion to their work delivery.
Some other award winners include Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Bolivia, State Bank of India, Chapman University (USA), Bedford College (UK), Delta Airlines (USA), BMW Group from Germany.
