The world-renowned concrete chemical company, MC Bauchemie, has been launched in Ghana.
The company focuses on the production of chemicals that are used in concrete for the construction of homes and any other construction in which concrete is needed.
It played a role in the construction of stadiums like the Maracana in Brazil and the Allianz Arena in Germany.
The Group MD of MC Bauchemie, Nicolaus Mueller, speaking at the launch of the company in Ghana, said, “Investing in Ghana is important to us. The economic situation looks promising. Ghana is known to be one of the best democratic systems on the continent.”
“MC’s main motivation is to contribute to a better and more sustained construction sector in Ghana. We don’t want to build a German company in Ghana; we want to build a Ghanaian company with German expertise.”
The company is incorporated in Ghana as MC-Bauchemie Ghana Limited and will be the leaders in the concrete industry in the country.
“The focus now is sector skill development to support professionals. We are ready to collaborate with MC Bauchemie. ‘Be Sure. Build Sure’ encapsulates the aims of the Chamber,” the chairman of the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry, Emmanuel Martey, said at the launch.
When he took to the podium, the Managing Director of MC-Bauchemie Ghana, Noble Bediako, touted the company’s clarity on the kind of market Ghana has when it comes to its concrete needs.
“We are now launching MC Bauchemie because we are now clear in our minds what the Ghanaian market is. We have about 2000 products; at this point, we don’t need 2000 products on the market. We needed to be sure which products suited our environment.”
“We are ready with our full customer service outfit for technical support. We needed to be sure, just as our tagline says, “Be Sure, Build Sure”, he also said.
