The parents of 4-year old Gabriel Terkper Amponsah are soliciting the help of Ghanaians to help fund his hole-in-heart surgery.
Gabriel, according to heart specialists at the National Cardiothoracic Center, is suffering from a condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF).
A surgical procedure, known as primary repair, will have to be undertaken to correct the defect.
Gabriel will need an amount of $9,000 which is about GH¢48,500 to complete the operation which covers his surgery and anaesthesia, as well as his stay at the intensive care unit of the Korle-Bu teaching hospital.
Interested donors are expected to direct their payment to the National Cardiothoracic Center.
