Citi FM’s unrivalled technology show Citi Trends has been nominated as the Tech Media Program of the Year in the Consumer and Social Good Section for the Mobex Africa Innovation Awards 2019.
The technology radio show hosted by Philip Ashon was nominated alongside TVA dialogue and Geek Squad.
#CitiTrends has been airing for the past five years on Citi 97.3 FM and has featured most of Ghana’s bright talents in the technology ecosystem on conversations on technology solutions and emerging markets in Ghana.
The nomination comes after the host Philip Ashon was last year honoured as the Eva Lokko ICT Journalist of the year for Mobex Africa Innovation Awards 2018 and the show was nominated for the World Summit Award 2015 as the best and most innovative solution in Media & News from Ghana.
