The Director-General of Welfare at the Ghana Police Service, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has assured the family of slain policeman, Lance Corporal Alhassan Asare, that justice will be served.
He says an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death.
Lance Corporal Alhassan Asare was found dead on a plastic chair while on duty at the Dukes Filling station at Akim Swedru in the Eastern Region.
His family has ruled out suicide as the possible cause of death.
