A team of clinical psychologists and forensic experts from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is expected to meet families of the other missing girl in the Western Region.
It will be the second meeting after one on Thursday with father of Priscilla Koranchie, one of the kidnapped Takoradi girls.
The team is in Takoradi to counsel the families of the kidnapped Takoradi girls and also explain the processes involved in the DNA examination.
According to reports, the CID has also sought the assistance of an external pathologist from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to assist the police pathologists to conduct the examinations together with the forensic experts.
The Father of Priscilla Koranchie, Mr. Alexander Koranchie told Citi News the team consoled the families during their visit.
“Yesterday they came with a team of clinical psychologists to console us because this incident happened about 9 months. They know the trauma we are going through and what worsened the situation was last Friday’s episode of finding bones near Sam Udotek’s house so they came to console us and tell us about the need to give samples to the Police.”
These steps are being taken after the families of the kidnapped girls agreed to cooperate with the police.
