TDI Global, a training and development institute on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 launched my3D, a competency-based development program that uses a structured approach to optimize the career competency of individuals for a fulfilling career.
my3D is edutech product tailored to optimize the career competency of individuals for a fulfilling career.
The program uses a 3 leveled structured approach namely, self-discovery phase, development phase, and deployment phase.
Self-discovery
In the discovery stage, my3D uses an internationally validated assessment tool for competency diagnostics and individual development action planning to quiz and assess the competence of individuals who sign up. my3d discovers mainly your thinking and reasoning style, behavioural and leadership traits and true interest/passion.
Development phase
In the development stage, individuals register for suitable courses for the development of selected skills. At this stage, the individuals are connected to coaches designed to suit their needs. The development phase can be done by guided self-learning, in-class physical location, webinar, use a coach and e-learning.
Deployment phase
In the development stage, individuals are assisted with mini-projects to help them build the skills acquired from the development phase.

Speaking at the event Tilda Mmegwa, CEO of TDI Global stated that soft skills help to produce emotionally balanced leaders needed for the future of work.
Soft skills drive your emotions. If I am not sure that I can write properly it can affect my emotional balance. If I am not sure I can communicate properly enough, it will affect my emotional balance. If I am not sure I have good relationship skills, it will effect my emotional balance. So to develop emotionally balance leaders, we take them through the competency-based development program.”
