Motorists who use the GIMPA link road say the state of discipline on the road has improved remarkably since Citi TV’s War Against Indiscipline campaign started there.
Today’s exercise which is the seventh to be carried out there in partnership with an enforcement unit of the Ghana Police Service recorded the lowest arrests so far in the exercise as only 10 errant drivers were arrested.
A member of the Public Affairs Department of the Police Service, ASP Simon Tenkuu told Citi News, none of the 10 persons arrested drove on the shoulders nor against oncoming vehicles.
Rather they were arrested for failing to have or display road safety documents.
