Ride-hailing service, Yango, has announced a new feature that is supposed to resolve unexpected price hikes.
The new feature, Fixed Price, ensures that when a route is entered into the Yango app, and the exact amount is calculated, it will stay the same till the end of the trip. This applies to all two tariffs in the app – Economy and Comfort.
“Customer satisfaction is central to our business. Since our launch in Ghana, feedback we have received indicates that a fixed price feature is what our customers want–no hustling after a trip,” the Global Expansion Director of Yango, Musheg Sahakian, has said.
To get a fixed price, the user will have to enter an accurate destination point when ordering a car.
To go to multiple places, the user must enter all the intermediary points before ordering the ride. Without doing this, the fixed price feature will not work.
