After the success of the Boiler Room; the global live-streamed music experience in Accra, Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky will be organising the True Music Accra on the 5th of October 2019.
True Music Accra will feature live performances from Ghanaian artists and DJs including Kwesi Arthur, King Promise, and more.
Organisers of the True Music Accra event say all is set for “an epic glow in the dark party fueled by the sounds of True African Music.”
Brand manager for Ballantine, Sarah Haman says the event is to celebrate Ghanaian artists who continually give off their best for the industry.
“True Music celebrates artists that do it their way. Whether they are just starting out or already global stars. They aren’t in it for the glitz and glamour, but simply to make the music which they truly believe in. Ghanaian artists are continually experimenting with different touch points of West Africa’s musical heritage to create new, unique flavours that thrive from its African roots. That is True Music” says Sarah Haman, Brand Manager of Premium Brands at Pernod Ricard Ghana.
Ballantine’s brand has won more than 130 trophies and medals at international competitions for its outstanding quality, as a result of its unique richness of character and perfect balance since 1827.
“As a brand passionate about authenticity and staying true to what we believe in, we are showcasing and celebrating incredible True Music in Ghana. Music born from passion, not compromise. This is our Music… This is True Music Accra,” Sarah Haman added.
