The top 50 contestants in The Literacy Challenge will converge for their aptitude tests later today, Friday.
This will be the second stage of the contest.
The first stage of this year’s competition gave Junior High School Students nationwide the task to write on the topic:
“In recent Years, indiscipline on our roads has led to the loss of many lives. In light of this write an essay, suggesting ways to solve this problem, in order to help Ghana’s economy to grow and develop.”
Following the aptitude test to whittle down the number of contestants to 10, there will be a finale with a grand prize of GHc10,000 is at stake.
The first and second runner ups shall be awarded GHc5,000 and GHc3,000 respectively.
The Literacy Challenge seeks to engage students in solving societal issues through writing to improve their skills.
