The grand finale of Citi TV’s music talent hunt, Voice Factory has been held at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
Araba beat Ayjay Sam, Cleck Boyson and Idara to win the ultimate prize of GHc 10, 000.
Performing at the programme were ‘Notin I Get’ singer, Fameye, ‘Zanku’ hitmakers Dope Nation, Mr Drew and Krymi of Highly Spiritual Music fame.
Gospel musician Edinam Bright-Davies, music producer Kaywa and Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment were the judges for the night.
The competition whose previous editions were aired on Citi 97.3 FM is meant to unearth music talents and put them in the limelight.
The programme which started in 2009 has had artistes like Fritz Hehetror, Melody Wilson, Natasha Odoi emerging as winners.
This year’s edition selected 10 contestants in the persons of Red’M, Idara, KennieKings, Charisma, Araba, Ayjay Sam, Cleck Boyson, Lina, Oye and Debbie.
After going through grooming and other seven weeks of performance episodes, the number was sifted to the four.
