Ghanaian media personality and poet, Apiorkor Seyiram Ashong-Abbey, will be moderating a session at this year’s edition of Pa Gya!, a literary festival to be held in Accra.
This year, the festival will take place from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Goethe-Institut in Accra.
Over the past two years, the festival which is organised by Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana has brought writers, critics, academics, performers, and musicians together with an enthusiastic audience for three days of workshops, readings, book launches, performances, talks, panel discussions, and more.
This year, Apiorkor will moderate a reading chat by Empi Baryeh from her book Expecting Ty’s Baby. This is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 from 4.30 to 5.30 pm.
Apiorkor who released her poetry book dubbed the ‘Matriarch’s Verse’ a few weeks ago, promises to bring to bear her knowledge and experience in the literary arts to bear on the reading session.
