Ghanaian gospel musician Cwesi Oteng has dispelled rumours that he has established a church.
Speaking to Nana Adwoa Sarkodie of Saturday Live on Citi TV the ‘God Dey Bless Me’ hitmaker explained: “I don’t have a church. I am just privileged to be a pastor of a church.”
Responding to the reasons for establishing a Christian fellowship, the singer who is now a pastor for FloRiva Church said God was preparing him for the future.
“I’ve been singing for almost 20years in church and professionally. I’m not getting younger, I’m getting old, and as I’m getting older, I’m moving into other levels of ministry. God has other plans for me,” he added.
He further stressed on the need to embark on evangelism as Christians to win souls for Christ.
Cwesi Oteng has hit songs like ‘Kabiyesi’, ‘Songs of the Spirit’, ‘Lord You Are Good’, ‘With Everything’, ‘Jehovah’ and ‘My Defence.’
