The Human Resources Manager for Citi FM and Citi TV, Mrs. Jennifer Anane Nsiah has been adjudged Best HR Manager in Media.
The honor was conferred on her at the 2019 HR Focus Conference and Awards organized by HR Focus Magazine.
Omni Media which incorporates Citi FM and Citi TV has over the years shown the most evidence of best practice in HR management in media services.
The human resource manager plays an essential and strategic role in nourishing organizational growth in a highly competitive global environment.
Mrs. Anane Nsiah in an interview with Citi News said the award “means that we are doing something right and obviously we’ve been awarded this lovely plaque to prove that and I believe we will continue to do what we do best and will win more awards in future. Everybody in Ghana can tell that Citi has made in-roads in the media landscape and what we do is to follow the rules and the regulations within the spectrum and that has paid off”.
The HR Focus Conference and Awards is designed to bring together top-level executives and business professionals with the aim of shared learning and discussions around a central theme, Agile working; redefining productivity.
The event saw the gathering of over 200 professionals and business executives at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The HR Focus Awards gave out over 27 awards to HR practitioners and HR teams across industries in Ghana to recognize and reward HR best practice with MTN Ghana coming out as the Overall Best Organization and Dr. Hazel Berrard Amuah of Guinness Ghana being awarded the HR practitioner of the year 2019.
Honorary awards were also given to individuals and institutions for their innovative contributions to HR management and development in Ghana.
The award recognized and honored organizations that have built up a tradition of best practice in HR management.
A member of the HR Focus Awards Technical Committee, Dr. Ellen Hagan urged HR practitioners to develop people to make them relevant in the emerging trends of management.
