Raslyon Technologies and Security has officially launched ‘DriveTest,’ a mobile application aimed at helping drivers learn essential safe driving skills needed to be ready for a licence test and aid learner drivers to have easy access to materials needed for driving tests.
Designed as an official learn-to-drive app and to empower and enlighten the driver about the driver and vehicle licensing rules and regulations, the application is user-friendly and accessible to everyone on their mobile devices.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Raslyon Technology and Security, Mrs. Afi Rossi-Aikins, stated that the Drive test App is part of an ongoing project by the company to help young people become confident and capable drivers.
“The idea is that Drive test will help new drivers learn the essential safe driving skills they need to be ready for the restricted licence test, from starting out through to advanced driving skills like reverse parallel parking and overtaking amongst others,” she said.
“The App also teaches these skills through short videos and animations, customised driving plans tailored to the learner driver’s current level of experience. And whether they live in a rural, urban, or suburban areas, personalised recommendations for what skills to practise next, feedback tips to help coaches give effective feedback on driving,” she added.
According to Chief Operating Officer of Raslyon Technology and Security, Ronald Nyamasekpor, Drive test is written in different languages to aid our brothers and sisters who are not literate and is designed for drivers of all ages, who are most at risk on the country’s roads.
“It was developed with input from professional driving instructors and can be used on its own, or to complement the skills learned through lessons with a driving instructor,” he added.
