Ride-hailing app, Yango, has started a new recognition and appreciation feature for its drivers who do well to help give riders great experiences.
With the new initiative, Driver of the Month, the Yango team selects and rewards a driver, based on the highest number of rides and rating.
The first person to win in this new initiative for September is Richard Ako Adjei.
He has a 20-year driving experience in Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon.
He trained and worked as an Auto-mechanic but has since been driving by connecting to the Yango app on a full-time basis.
He loves boxing.
“I’ve been using the app ever since I got this ride and I’ve vowed to stick with Yango because I get enough rides in a day to fetch me good money. My favourite clients are the interactive ones”, Richard said.
When asked what tip he’d like to give to Yango riders, Richard said, “Kindly input your exact pick-up and drop-off locations in the map to make locating you super easy.”
