The Buy-Made-in-Ghana rice campaign started by Citi FM/Citi TV’s CEO, Samuel Attah-Mensah, to get people to consume more local rice has gained steam.

The campaign has increased the demand for locally-produced rice in Ghana.

Ghana rice brands are healthy, nutritious and affordable.

Over the past few weeks, producers and distributors of Ghana rice have increased their distribution outlets across the country.

Here are some local rice brands that are readily available on the market and their contact details.

Aduanehene Jasmine Perfume Rice

Aduanehene is one of the local rice brands that are marketed by Wienco Ghana. The company is located close to Nyaho Clinic in Accra.

There are also distributors in places like Kaneshie, Pokuase, Madina, and Sogakope. Customers who want to buy some bags of rice can contact 054-011-6926.

This rice brand has been described as Ghana’s favourite.

Champion Long Grain Rice

The company’s production factory is located in Kpenu in the South Tongu district in the Volta Region.

The company started manufacturing in January 2019. According to the company, 50 tons of rice are produced every day.
