Total Ghana goes the Extra Mile in Customer Service

With the aim of enhancing customer experience, Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (Total Ghana), a leading oil marketing company and the adjudged 2018 Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Petroleum Company of the Year, embarked on its “Top Service Week” to interact with its customers on the forecourts.

Characteristic of this biannual customer-centered event, which was held from September 29 to October 5, 2019, management and staff of the company offered customers who drove to their service stations free under bonnet checks, tire pressure checks, windshield cleaning amongst others. Maintenance tips were also given to customers to help them prolong the engine life and performance of their vehicles.

In an interview, the Managing Director of Total Ghana, Mr. Eric Fanchini, who visited Kotobabi TOTAL service station, said that “the “Top Service Week” is one of the many actions that have been institutionalized to meet customers and know more about their needs”.

In view of the great value the company places on its customers, several initiatives and structures to offer them utmost comfort have been set up. Mr. Eric Fanchini explained that “the company has made substantial investment to extend its network of service stations across the country with the aim of providing premium services and products close to the customer. Some recent stations include Adenta Barrier, Gbawe and Agboba TOTAL service stations.”

The Managing Director of Total Ghana also noted that “some service stations are being refurbished to offer a warm, modern and friendly environment to the public.

Several service stations have additional services such as Food Corners, Shops, Lube Bays, Car Wash and ATMs, rendering TOTAL service stations a one stop place for individuals and families. To further create an eco-friendly and sustainable environment, more of our service stations will be equipped with solar panels. Total’s goal is to solarize 5,000 stations in 57 countries. Consistent with Total’s ambition to become the responsible energy major, the program will reduce our retail network’s carbon emissions by more than 50,000 tons per year.”

He added that the company has made available a full range of quality Total Lubricants, TOTAL EXCELLIUM fuel whose additives helps motorists to save on fuel, and the TROXI Club that allows commercial drivers to get discounts for every purchase made on fuel and lubricants.

A customer at Kotobabi TOTAL service station noted with satisfaction that “Total is a trusted brand. For so many years, I have not only received quality products but also great customer service. I appreciate the consideration they give to motorists by regularly introducing new and high-performing products. I would like to encourage the company to keep up its good work”.
