Troubled gold-dealership firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited is asking the leadership of groups formed by its customers to solicit inputs from the disgruntled members as it works on the modalities to pay back locked up investments.

In a statement, the company said the move is part of “our ongoing broad consultation, with the CEO together with management, the general public, government, and internal and external stakeholders.”

The appeal also comes at a time the aggrieved customers have expressed disappointment over the company’s decision to announce plans to publish a payment schedule without their views.

In what appears to be a listening company, Menzgold has announced ‘[email protected]’ as an email address through which customers can forward their payment grievances for the appropriate action to be considered.

“As part of our broad consultations regarding model(s) of payment and formula, the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah has respectfully and humbly suggested via his official verified Instagram page to the general public, stakeholders and most importantly our cherished customers, to channel all their concerns and suggestions to this email: [email protected]”

SUBMISSION OF WRITTEN CONTRIBUTIONS FROM VARIOUS LEADERS

As part of our broad consultations regarding model(s) of payment and formula, the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah has respectfully and humbly suggested via his official verified Instagram page to the general public, stakeholders and most importantly our cherished customers, to channel all their concerns and suggestions to this email: [email protected].

Alternatively, as a Team Player, he has also directed, as recognition to the various identifiable customer group leaders, to engage and solicit views of their members, and respectfully submit a written final copy to my office for onward submission to the Corporate Manager.

This directive is part of our ongoing broad consultation, which the CEO together with management has embarked upon to solicit views of the general public, government, and internal & external stakeholders.

Having received a lot of contributions and suggestions from the above-listed entities, this directive will also afford the various identifiable group leaders and their members the right opportunity to also partake in our ongoing broad consultations.

As much as it is the wish of the Chief Executive Officer to meet with the various leaders, other equally important engagements are making it extremely difficult for him to meet with the leaders.

I hope this directive will be adhered to by the leaders in order for us to have a comprehensive and inclusive final payment schedule and formula as we resolve to bring finality to this issue.

All final copies, signed by the leadership of the various groups and addressed should be submitted to me on Monday from 10:00 am-6:00 pm at Zylofon Media, East LEGON or emailed to [email protected].

Thank you.

Validation

Citi News sources close to the company revealed that there was an internal auditing process to pave way for the validation exercise.

The company scheduled October 28 to November 28 as the period for the exercise which will take place at designated venues in four regions, which are: Greater Accra, Central, Ashanti and Western.

But some customers of Menzgold mounted pressure on the company to announce a detailed payment plan.

According to the customers, this is the only way they can repose confidence in the company to refund their locked up investments.
