Lucozade Ghana has organised a clean-up exercise at the Osu Beach, dubbed the Lucozade’s ‘Love Date with Earth.’
The clean-up campaign is aimed at addressing environmental pollution caused by the indiscriminate disposal of plastic waste.
Lucozade Ghana intends to keep this as a sustainable activity to safeguard the cleanliness of our communities.
The Country Manager of Lucozade Ghana, Mensah Seneadza has said, “we are going to promote a clean environment by partnering with organizations that are already into sanitation, cleanliness and waste management”.
Coliba Recycling Company, a Ghanaian Plastic Waste Recycling Company, was on hand as partners to assist with the recycling of the plastic waste collected.
The Assembly Member for Osu Alata Electoral Area, Hubert Kpakpo Garshong, applauded the company for embarking on such an exercise, stressing that the move would go a long way to contribute to the realization of making Accra a cleaner city.
The clean-up exercise was well patronised by enthusiastic staff of Lucozade Ghana and residents of Osu Alata.
