Puma Energy has held its 2020 Retail Conference and Awards to recognise the efforts of its staff in 2019.
The event, which took place at Royal Senchi Hotel in Akosombo in the Eastern Region on March 14, marks the fourth edition of the scheme where the deserving staff of the oil marketing company are honoured for work in the previous year.
At the ceremony, the Managing Director of Puma Energy Ghana, Henry Yaw Osei, noted that this awards scheme “affords us all the chance to appreciate the tremendous hard work and dedication that each one of us has put into strengthening our brand position in the market.”
He described 2019 as “a remarkable year in our operations” adding that the company “made giant strides albeit despite the difficult market conditions of our business.”
He further cited the awards received by the company like the “2019 Road Safety Education” award, the “2019 HSSE CEO of the YEAR Award” and the “2019 CSR Excellence” and country of the year within the Puma Group as evidence of the gains made.
Mr. Henry Osei also commended all dealers for contributing to the growth of the Puma Energy in Ghana and noted that 2020 will see improved efforts towards efficiency and customer experience.
“This year, we will continue to focus our efforts on Operational Efficiency and Excellent Customer Experience at all Puma Energy Service stations. As a very responsive brand committed to the needs of our customers, the least we can do is to offer those we serve the very best of services.”
“One of the initiatives rolled out to give meaning to our customer-centric focus is the Puma Card which provides a seamless and mobile payment system option for all our customers. We will continue to deepen our processes and explore new innovative ways to offer value-added services to our customers,” he said.
