Producers of Bel aqua and Bel Beverages, BlowChem Industries Limited have supported Ghana’s COVID-19 fight with some food items and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge).
A similar donation has also been made to the Ghana Immigration Service to eradicate the global COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Items such as drinks, water, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and hand gloves were presented to these institutions.
The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital received 100 packs of Bel aqua water, 50 packs of Bel aqua Active, 30 gallons of Disinfectant, 10 gallons of Bleach, 20 boxes of Hand gloves, 100 bottles of hand sanitizers.
100 packs of Bel aqua water, 50 packs of Bel aqua Active, 30 gallons of Disinfectant, 15 gallons of Bleach, 20 boxes of Hand gloves and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers were also given to the Ridge Hospital.
For the Ghana Immigration Service, it was provided with 150 packs of Bel aqua water, 50 packs of Bel aqua Active, 50 packs of Big Boss Energy drink and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers.
Already, Bel aqua has made such kind gestures to the Tema General Hospital, Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces.
It has also donated food items and PPE kits to the Ministry of Information.
Last week, the company presented a cheque for GHS 500,000 and other items to the COVID-19 Trust Fund set up by the government to aid the fight against the pandemic.
The total number of Coronavirus cases in Ghana has increased to 636.
Total deaths and recoveries remain at eight and 17 respectively.
