The Ghana School of Law Students Representative Council (SRC) yesterday [Thursday, June 25] elected Philemon Laar as President.
The school has been in the news lately with reports of student agitations for reforms in legal education.
There have also been reports of mass failure of students in their exams.
Philemon Laar as the new leader of the SRC is expected to commence a new round of negotiations and advocacy towards the campaign for reforms.
Philemon Laar is a former SRC President of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He has been involved in student activism and mentorship of student leaders across the country.
