The Group Head of Corporate Affairs at GTBank Ghana, Richard Ahiagble, has announced his exit from the Bank after 18 months at the helm of affairs.
The Communications specialist who was previously Group Head of Corporate Affairs at Media General, owners of TV3 and doubled as the CEO of the 3 Foundation announced his exit in a social media post on Friday 26th June 2020.
Part of his post read “Today is my last working day at GTBank Ghana as I leave the Bank to pursue my next adventure – something I am truly passionate about. Over the last 18 months I have had the privilege of leading a young and talented team to transform the reputation of the Bank and to position it as one of the leading retail banks in the country. Thanks to everyone at GTBank for the wonderful experience. It’s been an incredible journey and I wish you all well in the years to come”.
Richard Ahiagble joined GTBank in January 2019 after a successful stint at Media General.
He is credited with projecting GTBank as one of the leading retail banks in Ghana and an industry leader in digital financial services – winning a number of awards including being adjudged Best Digital Bank 2019 by the International Center for Strategic Alliances (ICSA).
He joined the Bank from Media General where he served as Group Head of Corporate Affairs.
Prior to that he was Head of Corporate Communications for Airtel Ghana.
