The Rwanda diplomatic mission in Ghana has paid a working visit to Citi FM and Citi TV as part of a media tour.
The Rwandan High Commission to Ghana views engagements with the media as critical to its work and thus devoted the time to such establishments.
The delegation from the mission was led by its High Commissioner to Ghana, Dr. Aisa Kacyira.
She and her team met with some management and leadership of the station.
They were engaged by the stations’ General Manager, Bernard Avle; Head of News, Vivian Kai Lokko and the Head of Business Development, Omane Mensah Bonsu.
The Rwandan delegation was also taken on a tour of the stations’ studios and the newsroom for a brief interaction with some reporters.
Citi FM has generally held the East African nation in favourable regard because of how it has been touted for successes in eliminating overly bureaucratic and corrupt systems in its public sectors, using technology and friendly legal regimes.
The station organised the ‘Hello Kigali Business Tour’ in January 2017, sending business leaders, entrepreneurs and key public sector workers who are eager for further insights on solutions to stimulate growth and efficiency in their organisations.
