Three National Democratic Congress executives in the Eastern Region escaped death after a car crash on Friday.
The Eastern Regional Organiser of the NDC, Hackman Kabore; Richard Nyarko, the Deputy Regional Youth Organiser and Michael Ofoe the Deputy Regional Communications Officer, were in the Nissan pickup which was involved in the crash.
“The driver lost control of the car because of the curved nature of the road and the car somersaulted five times,” the Deputy Regional Treasurer of the party, Richard Obibini, said to Citi News.
The crash occurred on the section between Adawso and Nkyenenkyene on the Kwahu Tafo stretch.
The three were returning to Koforidua from election-related duties at Kwahu Afram Plains.
The regional executives who escaped with minor injuries were rushed to the Kwahu Government Hospital in Atibie where Citi News understand they have been treated and discharged.
